I will retire from my position as a tenured full professor at UC Santa Cruz at the end of December 2022, at which time I will become an emeritus faculty member. By waiting until the end of 2022, I’ll have time to graduate several PhD students this year, and to wrap up several UCSC internal projects. I plan to continue
